BOOTCAMP BEGINNINGS
13/07/22 - reflections on week 1 and 2 of BootCamp!
Bleuette Hille is a graduate of the DevAcademy Aotearoa Web Development Boot-Camp as of September 29th. Right now, she is working on building a dynamic developer portfolio, so please enjoy her static webpage in the meantime, and check back in a week or so.
Bleu's stack:
Outside of working on personal development projects, you will find Bleuette cursing at her sewing machine, using her blunt kitchen knives to make delicious meals and walking her small, fancy-pants dog, Alonso.
Her goal is to actively combat social and environmental issues through building useful and elegant tech solutions. She believes that meaningful change happens when inclusion, communication and kindness are are central values. Bleu's dream work environment embraces sustainability, champions values-driven teamwork and leadership, and fosters aro and hauora (loosely translating to compassion and wellbeing).
Bleu thrives in high-energy environments, and gets giddy-excited when faced with an opportunity to learn, or crack open a challenge. She loves encouraging others and building on ideas, and working in a team is welcomed with the open arms of a chance to build connections, learn and grow.
Bleuette considers herself a tentative idealist, and delights in the small things, ponders the big things and looks up in curiosity at the huge things, like mountains and achieving gender-equality.
